Community vote in Killultagh

The Community Decision event for the Grand Choice participatory budgeting initiative in Killultagh was held on Saturday 19 October 2024 in St Clare’s Community Hall, 55 Chapel Road, Glenavy.

We were delighted to see nearly 800 people from the local community come along to show support and help the local groups achieve support for their ideas for 5 Ways to Wellbeing; Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning, Give.

Each of the projects exhibited during the event prior to the public casting their votes. Representatives from various agencies also attended on the day to give advice and guidance to the local community on areas such as crime prevention, health and wellbeing and much, much more.
